Candidates must have at least 5 years experience in the following:
– Day to day management experience in the apartment industry managing 500+ apartments
– Hiring, training and overseeing staff and building strong teams
– Bidding, negotiating and implementing contracts
– Experience in developing capital improvement projects and direct oversight through completion
– Reviewing and analyzing various reports for trends, opportunities and potential problems
– Extensive knowledge in maintenance, apartment turnovers, building components and facility related issues
– Customer service
– Snow removal
– Hands on position
– On call responsibilities
Candidates must possess the following qualities:
– Leadership skills to motivate employees towards a common goal;
– Ability to implement policies and procedures;
– Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbally, to residents, vendors, superiors and subordinates;
– Organizational skills to handle many tasks at the same time, achieve deadlines and work effectively and efficiently;
– Have an acute ability to create and implement operating efficiencies.
