SCOPE – COORDINATOR – HUMAN RESOURES Provides support to the Human Resources department by supporting employees and leadership in achieving organizational goals while ensuring an inclusive and engaging environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

• Support Human Resource strategies and initiatives aligned with overall company goals.
• Support business needs through the development, engagement and motivation of employees
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions and special assigned HR projects.
• Help ensure legal compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by supporting HR processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with policy administration.
• Conducts or acquires background checks.
• Support employees in navigating engagement surveys, etc. and answering and responding timely to HR inquiries.
• Supports the new hire orientation, employee offboarding, and employee recognition programs.
• Assist in resolving employee relations concerns while maintaining confidentiality, consistency, and compliance with company policies.
• Assists with the preparation of the performance review forms.
• Assists HR with various research projects and/or special projects.
• Functions as the receptionist back up and coordination of front desk
• Assists with the administration of 401K, Workers Comp., and unemployment benefits.
• Support company picnic and wellness initiatives
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

SUCCESS CRITERIA – HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR

• Reporting accuracy.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR

• Preferred bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in supporting multiple business leaders, working across varied HR practice areas
• A strong team player with the ability to work and in a cooperative manner with internal clients and colleagues at all levels as well as independently with supervision.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding, high expectation environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• This position is an onsite position.
