Welder

Responsibilities

• Fabrication: Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding on aluminum, stainless, and cast iron in all positions.
• Precision: Interpret blueprints, align workpieces using jigs/vises, and ensure quality via inspections.
• Equipment: Operate torches, power tools, forklifts, and Lulls; perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain PPE standards, monitor weld quality, and report machinery faults.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years of welding experience (or equivalent education).
• Aluminum Proficiency: 6 months of aluminum experience or an 80%+ score on an onsite test.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in uncontrolled indoor/outdoor environments.
• Training: Proficiency in Safety/First Aid and blueprint reading.
