Jon Murdock Chevrolet-Mitsubishi is currently looking for 1 warm, charismatic, and outgoing individual to join our team. As we head into our busy season, now is the perfect time to make the change and begin your sales career! We are looking for only the very best in customer service. About you:

• No vehicle sales experience necessary. And a lack of car sales experience can even be to your advantage! So please don’t be intimidated if you haven’t worked in the automotive industry before. Some of our best sales staff have been former teachers, prior military, retail employees, and come from just about every background. If you do have prior dealer experience, you must be open to new processes and training.
• Clean, professional appearance is a must!
• You have some familiarity with computers and smart phone usage
• You enjoy talking to people and have an outgoing personality. You are likeable, and make friends easily.
• You have great phone and email skills
• You are an organized and focused person
• And most importantly, we are seeking good people who are enthusiastic, warm, and genuinely care about your customers! We are seeking positive, upbeat personalities with the desire to grow a long term career! This is a people business and great customer service skills are the foundation to your success.

Your day will consist of:

• Warmly greeting all guests
• Following the steps to the sale to ensure all of our guests are treated with the same professional service
• Presenting our vehicles and demonstrating value to our guests
• Presenting purchase proposals and helping buyers overcome any objections to ownership they may have
• Walking customers through the delivery process to ensure 100% satisfaction
• Following up with unsold prospects via phone, email, and text
• Reaching out to customers who have purchased previously to ensure they are happy with their vehicle and to cultivate long term guest loyalty
• Daily use of our Customer Relationship Management software
• Handling internet sales inquiries
• Maintaining all factory required training and certification
• Helping with general lot appearance upkeep
