️ What We Look for in Our Drafter / Project Managers Qualifications
Mandatory experience and proficiency with AutoCAD 2D
AutoCAD 3D experience is a plus
SolidWorks experience is helpful
Bluebeam experience is helpful
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural construction drawings and specifications
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
General knowledge of architectural design principles, fabrication, and construction methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines with minimal supervision
Experience working with manufactured architectural products, fabrication, or construction-related products is highly desirable
️ Key Responsibilities
Utilize AutoCAD and related software to prepare detailed shop and fabrication drawings
Manage project submittals, revisions, and approval processes
Create and maintain project-specific Bills of Materials
Review architectural and structural drawings and specifications
Coordinate with engineering resources for project-specific technical requirements
Communicate with customers by phone and email to resolve technical questions and keep projects on schedule
Coordinate project details between customers, engineering resources, production, and internal teams
Create detailed fabrication and production release packages
Track project progress, deadlines, revisions, and approvals
Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability
Assist in identifying potential production or installation issues and developing practical solutions
Maintain organized project documentation
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines
Support production teams by ensuring drawings, specifications, and material information are accurate and complete
Perform other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who can think technically while keeping projects moving forward.
You should be confident working in AutoCAD, comfortable reading construction documents, and able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal production teams. Attention to detail is extremely important, as your drawings and project documentation will directly support fabrication, manufacturing, and final product quality.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of deadlines.

Education & Experience
Two-year college or university degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
Two to four years of related experience and/or training preferred
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
AutoCAD experience is mandatory
SolidWorks and Bluebeam experience is a plus
Experience in architectural manufacturing, fabrication, construction products, or a related industry is highly desirable
