3-Day Work Week. 40-Hour Paycheck. Every Week.

That’s not a typo. At PVS Structures, our weekend shift welders work Friday through Sunday – 36 hours – and get paid for a full 40. If you’re a skilled MIG welder who wants to maximize your earnings while keeping four days a week to yourself, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

We fabricate and assemble structural carbon steel for complex industrial and structural projects – and we need experienced welders who take pride in clean, precise work that meets exacting customer specifications.

The Details

• Starting pay: $22.00-$24.00/hr depending on experience
• Hours: Friday-Sunday, 5:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Paid hours: 40 hrs/week – even though you only work 36
• Process: MIG welding

What You’ll Do

• Assemble, weld, and fabricate carbon steel structural components following detailed customer drawings and specifications
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment with precision and consistency
• Perform preheating, cutting, and fitting of structural steel components prior to welding
• Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure welds meet dimensional and visual standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to understand joint configurations, weld symbols, and tolerances
• Identify and correct fit-up issues before they affect weld quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Work collaboratively with fitters, other welders, and production staff to meet project deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• Proven MIG welding experience on structural carbon steel – this is not an entry-level role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Strong understanding of fit-up, distortion control, and weld quality standards
• Solid attention to detail and a commitment to getting it right the first time
• Dependable and safety-conscious – you follow procedures and look out for your teammates
• Able to work a consistent Friday-Sunday schedule
