We’re looking for an Agency Business Consultant to join our Farmers Insurance District Office. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to over 40 independent agency owners, helping them grow their businesses through strategic coaching, sales leadership, recruiting, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

As an Agency Business Consultant, you will:

• Partner with independent agency owners to develop customized business growth strategies.
• Analyze agency performance using sales and operational metrics.
• Conduct business planning meetings and performance reviews.
• Coach agency owners and staff on sales techniques, customer retention, life insurance, commercial insurance, and cross-selling strategies.
• Identify opportunities to increase profitability and market share.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor agency talent.
• Hold agency owners accountable to agreed-upon business goals.
• Support new agency launches and ongoing business development.
• Collaborate with district leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
• Build lasting relationships through consistent communication and in-person agency visits.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional sales, leadership, business consulting, or management experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze business data and recommend actionable solutions
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

License/Certification:

• Property and Casualty Insurance License (Required)
• Life and Health Insurance (Required)

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Insurance or financial services experience
• Business development or account management experience
• Coaching, recruiting, or leadership experience
• CRM software experience
