The primary responsibility of the Account Representative, Hotels & Resorts is to proactively provide seamless strategic sales, marketing, and customer service support to in their assigned market areas, ensure client retention/conversion and to achieve/exceed established revenue goals. Additionally, providing some administrative functions for the department.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Account management for assigned Hotel Partners.
Present and sell marketing and sponsorship opportunities to assigned accounts. Create marketing plans and ensure entry into Magazine Manager and any follow-through as needed with the partners to execute.
Assist with Virtuoso Events, requests, and registration process, reviewing allocations and work with Meetings & Events team to ensure successful outcome.
Manage Hotel contacts and notes from partner calls via Zoho CRM (Customer Relationship Management) ).
Coordinate with the Operations Department when bringing on new preferred partners and ensure the proper Account Manager is informed. Conduct new partner onboarding and orientations.
Ensure that partners’ profiles, products, and promotions are accurately loaded by partner and available on Liaise with appropriate departments on any related technical issues.
Attend Virtuoso Meetings & Events and/or partner industry events as required.
Support the Hotels team with any other deliverables or additional duties to achieve division goals.
Assist team with various data gathering such as marketing metrics, hotel productions reports, marketing histories, and geographic reports.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
High School Diploma, or equivalent
1-2 years of related work experience
Forward thinking, curious, and creative
Ability to work independently
Travel Requirements:
Travel is rarely required for this position (0-1 trips per year).
Travel will be entirely domestic.
Type/Nature of Contacts:
Internal: There is communication with accounting, marketing, operations, events, help desk.
External: Daily contact with external contacts in designated hotel portfolio.
