We are currently seeking Activities Assistants to join The Commons, our Skilled Nursing Facility. Few jobs are as rewarding and all-around fun as an activity’s assistant in a senior community. Helping others, forming relationships, and nurturing your creativity are just a few of the benefits of this position. Entry level position to help you grow within a healthcare setting
What will you bring to our team?
No experience necessary- we are willing to train!
Maintain a State of Florida issued CNA license preferred but NOT required.
CPR certification is preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft office programs is preferred.
Good understanding of the social, psychological, and special needs of the aged.
Able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Able to develop and plan creative activities for the residents throughout the workday.
Willing to work beyond the normal working hours and on weekends, when necessary.
Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, tact, and the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
