Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time administrative associate to provide office support for the dean of occupational and emerging technologies, as well as the technology department head and faculty members, and coordinate the workflow and communications between the department heads and dean.
Duties include typing, filing, photocopying, preparing meeting minutes, scheduling appointments and meetings, entering purchase requisitions, ordering office supplies, reconciling and monitoring budgets, monitoring departmental faculty load reports for accuracy, proctoring exams, assisting with online assessment data entry, entering credit class schedules in Colleague, maintaining scheduling data, compiling data and assisting with the preparation of reports, and assisting with the generation of part-time faculty contracts.
Requirements include an associate degree and four years of office experience (a high school diploma or equivalent and nine years of related work experience may be substituted for the education and experience requirements) and excellent written and oral communication, computer (including Microsoft Office), mathematical, organizational and human relations skills.
Preference will be given to applicants with an associate degree in office technology, secretarial science or relevant field.
