HonorHealth is a non-profit, local community healthcare system serving an area of 1.6 million people in the greater Phoenix area. The network encompasses six acute-care hospitals, an extensive medical group, outpatient surgery centers, a cancer care network, clinical research, medical education, a foundation, and community services with approximately 13,100 team members, 3,500 affiliated providers and nearly 700 volunteers. 6 years Experienced in full stack development utilizing Symfony, VueJS frameworks or other such PHP frameworks. Database experience in Oracle, Elastic Search and MySQL. DevOps and Unix server experience. Caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached and Varnish Required
Responsibilities: Job Summary
Applications System Engineer Level III, as a Full stack developer will perform both front-end and back-end development on websites, software and application systems. Engineer will evaluate the needs of the users and analyze any technical issues to program highly functional systems. The Applications Systems Engineer Level III will work in a clinical environment to disseminate the needs of the staff in modifying user interfaces and structuring required information. In addition, the Applications Systems Engineer Level III will provide system analysis, database query and application design and optimization, documentation, development and web site maintenance. Application Systems Engineer Level III would lead/mentor Application Systems Engineer Level I and Level II.
Document, Design, write code, unit test, and implement front-end and backend development using a variety of programming and scripting languages, applications, databases, and systems.
Provide ongoing support of upgrading software and fixing bugs/issues in the software/applications implemented and supported by the organization.
Participate in shaping the architecture and design of the products we build; actively help the team in choosing the right technology, and solving technical problems. Serve as an expert in one or more of business domains. Lead advocate for one or more technology stacks and share knowledge across organization.
Leads in the entire project from start to finish following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Leads in development planning sessions, weekly team status meetings and create/update appropriate project management documentation as required.
Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices. Experience developing software in different programming languages, and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages.
Produces specialized reports/data. Analyzes data and reports for anomalies or indicators. Reviews report data and information trends to identify opportunities for improvement and pro-active resolution of deficiencies.
Available for occasional off-hours emergencies
