They will also communicate with hospital clinical staff and physicians to ensure timely and efficient patient care, provide Tier 1 technical support to hospitals and physicians, facilitate and confirm timely hand off to Tier 2 IT support, and comply with all HIPAA requirements.”They are Patient Consults for the ER Departments at rural hospitals who do not have a Clinician on site.
