Position Summary:

Samsung SDSA is looking for a Cloud Systems Administrator who will help our team to support Enterprise customers in complex management for various clouds. Our team is working on the cutting edge of Cloud technologies to provide the most optimized end-to-end hybrid cloud services from cloud implementation consultations to migration and efficient integrated operation. As a hybrid cloud service partner, Samsung SDS America supports client’s digital transformation according to business characteristics, based on top industry expertise, various cloud migration/operation experiences and specialized technologies. Ideal candidate is proactive and eager to grow his expertise in Cloud Solutions. You will contribute to the creation of the best in class Cloud roadmap, and strategies for enterprise adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Solve highly technical and complex problems on multiple Cloud projects, and provides consultative support to internal staff.
• Interact with business customers to formulate and define Cloud system scope and objectives.
• Contribute to the creation of a best in class Cloud roadmap, and strategies for enterprise adoption. Collaborate Enterprise Architecture, internal customers and the Cloud Business Team.
• Manage Internal Cloud solution & public cloud Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Cloud solutions
• Manage AWS cost explorer, Azure Cost Management
• Oversee billing and metering on cloud platforms
• Respond to technical issues, logging and monitoring tools in a professional and timely manner.
• Engage and manage stakeholders for the purposes of gathering feedback and offering guidance.
• Document all technical inquiries, develop and review content for knowledge base
• Create and present monthly Cloud usage, performance cost and analysis reports to Management and HQ.

Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
• 5+ years’ experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.
• Comprehensive experience with at least one of: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and architecture / delivery of Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge and working experience in Linux (both Red Hat and Ubuntu) and Linux automation (Ansible)
• Working experiences in Kubernetes and Docker in both implementation and operation.
• Hands on experience in scripting for automation purposes.
• Experience with containers as build artifacts and configuration, provisioning and deployment to production environments.
• Build and deployment automation (Jenkins preferred), and demonstrated track record of implementing Continuous Deployment through production.
• Experience in installation and maintenance of source codes / local repositories for GIT, Docker registry and others
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
