JOB OVERVIEW

The Customer Service Representative handles all administrative duties relating to the receiving, storing, maintaining, shipping, and invoicing of our customer’s inventory. The Customer Service Representative works directly with the leadership team, associates, and customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Track and trace shipments as required
• Utilize Process Monitors and Workflows on a daily basis
• Ensure timely movement and delivery of freight to customers Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls, ensuring pickups and deliveries are on schedule, building customer relationships with regional and across the country.
• Processes and monitors shipping and receiving transactions and documentation, including receipts, bills of lading, orders, confirming shipments for specific customers to ensure timeliness and accuracy
• Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies, and others)
• Ability to multitask responding to inquiries in several environments.
• Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

• Help resolve shipping issues with a high level of professionalism.
• Document and manage all tasks in our internal systems
• Directly in communication with the sales team when necessary with the sales team when necessary
• Answering client & sales questions
• Helping the company build out a Customer Service function
• Learning all of our major client’s critical processes for shipments

JOB TYPE

• Full-Time / Part-Time / Entry Level

SALARY

• $25.00 – $30 an hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years of customer service or related work. *(Minimum)
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• High school or equivalent (Minimum)
• Legal work authorization (Required)
