Our direct client is looking for a Desktop, Network equipments Asset Management for a 100% onsite Long term contract in Columbus, OH.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
– The candidate will be supporting The Ohio Department of Transportation s (ODOT) Asset Management Team.
– This position will function as a skilled Desktop, Network equipments Asset Management within the Department of Information Technology responsible for tracking, updating, and movement of Information Technology desktop and network assets.

Specific responsibilities:
– Updating meta-data required for asset management.
– Add newly acquired assets to the system.
– Reassignment of assets, based on ServiceNow incident tickets.
– Coordinated and organizing disposal of ODOT s computer and networking outdated equipment.
– Maintaining organization of working area.
– Append asset tags to newly acquired equipment.
– Reporting from the asset management system to aid in biennium reconciliation
– Mobile AV support
– Unpackaging and movement of equipment.
– Follow quality standards.
– Analytical and customer service skills.
– Communicate accurate and useful status updates.
– Ability to work in a team environment.
– Complete assigned tasks.
– Strong communication skills; both written and spoken

– Years of Relevant Experience: 3 – 4 years
– Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
