Job Description:

+ Position: **Test Engineer**

+ Location: **McKinney, TX**

+ Duration: **12 months**

+ Pay Rate: **$34.00 per hour**

+ Start Date: **22 February 2022**

+ contract employment

+ **1-2** years of experience

+ inspection and test; repetitive task, attention to detail, high quality work

+ perform a variety of product tests using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts / products

+ set up and operation of testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physical movement of materials on and off of testing platforms

+ history of initiative, strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams

+ perform other duties as assigned by Leadership

Requirements:

+ one or more years of experience in testing

+ **active Security Clearance Required for this position (or Interim)**

+ ability to work long periods while standing, bending, and walking

+ excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

+ ability to multi-tasks, set priorities, and adapt to change

+ flexible and motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment

+ ability to read and interpret test data

+ strong safety focus, ability to work with minimum supervision

+ strong written and oral communication skills

+ enthusiastic, aggressive, self-starter with strong people skills

+ ability to work across multiple shifts / weekend work

+ 3rd shift position with initial training taking place on 1st or 2nd shift

+ standard employment background screening

+ legally permitted to work in the U.S.

+ **Associates Degree in Electronics, Military training in electronic testing / troubleshooting, or equivalent experience / education in testing processes**
