Responsibilities

This CNA position works Every Other Weekend, 12 hours Saturday and 12 hours Sunday (24 Hours Every Other Week)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing companionship and/or personal care to our assisted living residents (Stonebrook Assisted Living). This position requires minimal assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).

CNA responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with:
  • minimal ADL
  • simple exercise plans
  • transfers/mobility
• Taking resident’s Vital Signs
• Observes and reports any changes in resident’s condition (behavior or health), takes action to ensure resident safety
• Provide meal service
• Document daily activities; record daily client care/condition/progress with Sigma
• Companionship and engagement activities (may include assisting with family visitation)
• Resonding to call lights
• Assisting the RN and RP as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or HiSET required
• Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certificate
• Great team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to show patience and kindness at all times
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and write the English Language
