Dental clinic in Beaver Dam, WI is looking to full-time a PART-TIME Front Desk Coordinator/Scheduling Coordinator to ensure that dental patients’ appointments are appropriately scheduled, rescheduled, or canceled, depending on the needs of the patients. The Front Desk Coordinator/Scheduling Coordinator responsibilities include entering patient information into the clinic’s data system, answering patients’ questions, arranging referrals to other dental specialists, and verifying patients’ insurance coverage, as well as preparing billing statements for patients. This role is temporary-to-full-time for the right candidate!
This position is 4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, 7:45-5:00, with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break.
•Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
•Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
•Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
•Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
•Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
•Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
•Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments, and calculate out of pocket expenses based on insurance coverage.
•Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
•Coordinate patient treatment plans, discussing corresponding appointment schedule and payment schedule unique to each case.
•Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing and faxing.

•1+ years of previous office experience (reception or administration)
•Solid math and problem solving skills.
•High school diploma or GED required
•Certification in office administration, medical administration, or related field is nice to have
•Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
