Job Description

THE MAX Challenge is looking for someone to lead its program and multiple classes in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Part-time, hourly position available to begin ASAP. Available same hour every day a MUST, open availability in general a huge plus.

Looking for instructors for the morning and late afternoon to instruct every day Monday through Friday. A position as an instructor is extremely flexible and can meet your specific scheduling needs. The operations of our business include leading group exercise classes, coaching on our nutritional program, motivating students toward their goals, sales and enrollment, and administrative and office work.

ABOUT THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Charismatic, passionate, fitness-orientated professional with leadership skills wanted for the highly successful THE MAX Challenge. We are looking for someone that is willing to be trained in our methodology of fitness, nutritional, and motivational training. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to grab the bull by its horns. We are looking for a team player. We are looking for a leader. We are looking for someone who is motivational. We are looking for someone that can be comfortable enrolling people in our program over the phone or in person. We are looking for someone who is about living life to the fullest and putting their health first.

Must be able to inspire and lead like a ROCK STAR a class of 15-60 people, fast learner, autonomous, self-starter that has a passion for fitness, changing lives and inspiring others. Seeking those with exceptional people skills, able to generate close-knit relationships, and those who possess the “IT” factor. This position is for a responsible, organized entertainer who can put on a show and execute an amazing workout plan.

Experience

• Kickboxing or fitness instruction experience a plus but not necessary.
• Background in Aerobics/Cross fit/Martial Arts/Boxing/Dancing/Acting/Public speaking A PLUS!
• Will train the right candidate.
• Experience in fitness membership sales, a bonus.
• Proven successful leadership skills.
• Coaching/Motivation ability highly sought after.
• Group Fitness/ National certification, a PLUS.

Compensation

Pay range $18-$28 per class + administrative pay & bonuses, paid training, paid required MAX instructor certification, complimentary membership, & positive family atmosphere work environment.
