Kitchen Member Responsibilities:

Customer:

Acknowledge all customers entering and exiting the store
Provide the highest quality of interactions with customers – be pleasant, friendly, and polite to everyone
Prepare food items per established recipes and menus in a way that preserves food freshness, quality, and appeal
Display an appreciation of our customers by thanking them in a meaningful and thoughtful manner
Respond quickly and respectfully to a customers complaint and notify the person in charge
Make appropriate suggestions to customers orders to increase satisfaction

Individual:

Taking orders from the carry-out counter promptly
Answering telephones promptly and courteously
Store food items per established standards of practice; utilize proper labeling and dating system
Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment; clean up spills quickly, and wear protective gear as needed
Communicate needs and concerns regarding food production and kitchen operation to supervisor appropriately, and in a timely manner
Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning; report any discrepancies to supervisor immediately
Utilize safe food handling techniques
Knowledge of menu items and pricing structure

Other:

Support other staff in assuring that the essential functions of the kitchen are performed adequately and appropriately
Maintain inventory of all food items
Obtain functional knowledge of oven and cutting counter procedures
Prepare menu items while following the proper recipes to maintain a consistent product and nutritional value
Complete all assigned cleaning and prep-work
Perform any other assignments or tasks assigned by your manager or supervisor

Physical Requirements:

Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time
