The contractor shall:+ Assist in day-to-day operation of the laboratory by providing technical and administrative support as follows: Organize laboratory documents associated with COVID19 serology efforts and associated projects in standard laboratory operations+ Monitor laboratory safety standards and maintain safety protocols in the laboratory+ Keep electronic records of samples associated with COVID19 serology efforts and associated projects in standard operations+ Provide occasional assistance to laboratory team members with basic biologic laboratory techniques such as tissue culture and ELISA+ Manage inventory for laboratory supplies+ Assist with organization of meetings and take notes/minutes on collaboration callsREQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:+ Bachelor’s Degree with greater than or equal to three (3+) years of experience post-graduation, Master’s Degree in immunology, molecular biology, or related field with 2+ years of experience post-graduation, or PhD in related field with no necessary years of experience post-graduation (though experience is preferred)+ Candidates will be judged based on experience as this is a laboratory manager position and requires knowledge of general lab functions+ Experience in lab manager role or similar preferred+ Minimum of three (3+) years of experience in a science related field.+ Strong English communications skills, both oral and written.+ Experience in science writing (research articles) is preferred+ Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.+ Laboratory skills in mammalian tissue culture and ELISAPLEASE APPLY ONLINEWhen you apply, please know a Kelly Government Solutions Recruiter will review your resume and will contact you directly, if your skills and experience match the requirements of this position; a full job description can be made available at that time.Due to the high volume of inquiries, we regret that we cannot accept phone calls.
