Job Summary

Performs clerical services and tasks for a specific unit in healthcare facilities. Scans and indexes medical record documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology a plus. Assists supervisor with other job duties as assigned. Assists getting documentation signed by providers. Covers front receptionist desk as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

May require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification dependent upon department.
