RESPONSIBILITIES

Constellis has a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) based in Moyock, North Carolina. The GSOC is a 24/7/365 Operations center monitoring and supporting all Constellis internal and client operations world-wide. The Operations Support and Administration Specialist (OSAS) is the shift person responsible for receiving and prioritizing emergency and non‐emergency telephone calls, evaluating incoming calls to determine appropriate level of assistance or support required. They also track and report on a number of key data feeds daily and record Serious and Non-Serious Incident Reports. The OSAS also provides assistance as necessary and transmits information and messages according to established procedures. The OSAS will serve as the administrative point of contact for their assigned GSOC shift and will ensure the internal and external clients are supported. Work is performed with little supervision. This position is for shift work during weekends and holidays.

•Position is part time, 12-hour evening shifts (6:00 pm to 6:00 am), including weekends and holidays

• Serves as the GSOC OSAS during their assigned shift.
• Ability to exercise judgment under pressure and deal with sensitive information in a discreet and professional manner.
• Compiles and coordinates all reporting and document production activities on shift.
• Assists with 24/7 global monitoring and reporting.
• Generates time-sensitive situation reports and alerts, as well as performs quality assurance and editing of intelligence products.
• Liaise with Constellis staff, other clients in order to respond to inquiries and provide support and guidance as required.
• Monitors and reports on world events for Alerts and general awareness.
• Assists with ensuring proper notifications are made to headquarter, program, safety, IT/Communications and all other duty personnel as required.
• Maintains a positive customer service attitude at all times with the public, user agency members, co‐workers and supervisors.
• Prepares various forms of documentation including reports and logs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills in order to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‐workers, citizens, community contacts, elected officials, members of other governmental agencies, the general public and command staff members of other departments.
• Operates radio, telephones, computer systems and standard office machines (photocopier, calculator, etc.) under routine, emergency and high stress conditions.
• May be required to be on‐call, remain on duty after shift‐end and respond to emergency situations at any time.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or GED; post‐high school education at a technical or college level is helpful.
• Ex-military or Emergency Management experience working in an operations center desired.
• Must have minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience.
• Demonstrated experience in operations preferred.
• Knowledge of business continuity, emergency management, or incident support preferred.
• Strong skills with MS-Outlook, MS-Office suite and other computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must have adequate hearing, manual dexterity and mental disposition in order to remain alert and perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to perceive the full range of the color spectrum, such as working with electronically produced letters, numbers and/or images on a computer monitor.
• Excellent administrative skills to ensure efficient running of GSOC that includes sufficient global and HQ/operational coverage
• Effective time management and problem solving skills.
• Coordination of prompt, high-quality responses to demands and Intel requests, and providing constructive feedback on analysis and writing.
• Self-motivated, highly flexible and possess strong initiative.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to clearly speak, read and write the English language is essential. Proficiency in a second language (Spanish or Arabic) is desirable.
• Superior ability to perform multiple tasks in high intensity situations.
• Multi-tasking skills with the ability to produce on deadline essential.
• Must possess security clearance or be eligible to receive one.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. This position requires rotating shift work during weekends and holidays. Extended hours may also be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
