What you’ll do
We have an opening for a Technical Engineer II to join our Infrastructure & Operations – Application Hosting Services (AHS) team. As a member of the IT System’s team, you will develop strong and meaningful relationships throughout the Point of Sale Product ART and TJX IT shared services. This role will support pre-release design and engineering, new installation and deployment of ORACLE Xstore, Kronos and other Stores and Selling systems.
As a Technical Engineer, you will work within an Agile Release Train (ART) based on the Scalable Agile Framework (SAFe). Your responsibilities will include leading and performing DevOps activities to design, develop, deploy and support the DevOps tools that enable the Product ART’s continuous delivery pipeline. You will help to keep TJX POS systems current with cutting edge technology and help drive world class solutions for our Stores and Selling team.
What you’ll need

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in technology or information systems or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of software design, development, testing and implementation experience
Understanding of monitoring high-uptime, resilient software systems
Familiarity with security concerns in enterprise software
Working knowledge of Application Techstack & RDBMS
Working knowledge in Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps tools (Ansible Playbooks, GIT, XL Release, XL Deploy and Jenkins)
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 Oracle Xstore (POS) implementations
Broad knowledge in the area of DevOps tools and capabilities.
Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle within both the SAFe Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Knowledge with Oracle Retail (MOM), Manhattan WMS and EOM technologies
Working familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
