General Summary Highline College is currently inviting applications for adjunct clinical faculty for the 2022-23 academic year. Seeking dynamic candidates who will demonstrate the ability to use equity-minded approaches to teaching and learning for racially, ethnically, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse students, including designing curriculum, pedagogy, and assessments relevant to students; valuing what students already know; and empowering students to demonstrate knowledge in multiple ways as appropriate for the discipline and program. The successful candidate will work in direct patient care clinical settings with students, virtual simulation classrooms, face-to-face simulation, and skills lab instruction, or some combination thereof. This position works under the guidance of a lead faculty and the supervision of the Nursing Program Director. Clinical shifts and lab classes generally fall on Mondays and Tuesdays or Thursdays and Fridays depending on the course taught and clinical placement. The position requires employees to travel to clinical sites and may include day, evening, and/or weekend shifts.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary will depend on education level, experience as an RN and/or teacher, and number of hours worked. The current salary range per credit hour is $1,349.15 to $1423.19. This is a union represented position subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary, retirement, medical and insurance benefits are provided in accordance with state regulations and may be subject to change in accordance with legislative mandates and collective bargaining agreements.
