Provide assistance to the director by covering front desk, assisting with daily functions of the center, proctoring exams, taking payments and processing bills. Support for all programs (college credit, adult and continuing education, HiSet, and others). Extensive computer skills, time management, with schedules being primarily days with the occasional night or weekend Detail orientated, handle confidential matters.
Required Qualification
Manage the efficient operation of the Cass County Center office, including support for all program.
Collect data for reports and student records for Center programs in a systematic and timely manner.
Assist with technology troubleshooting for students and within the classroom and all technology equipment.
Assist in proctoring college credit, HiSet, and other exams.
Assist in managing building, communicating with vendors when supplies and services are needed.
Assis with recruitment and marketing with telephone calls, producing brochures and managing mailings.
Monitor students within and outside of building.
Manage master schedule and booking of classrooms.
Process registrations, collection of fees, bank deposits and receipts.
Open and close Center occasionally as needed outside of regular hours.
Perform receptionist duties: answer phone, take messages, greet and help visitors and students courteously, manage mail, keep files in an orderly fashion.
Experience and skills with MS office products including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint.
Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Preferred Qualification
Computer experience, specifically with Microsoft Office products.
Physical Demands
Requires periods of standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping, stretching. May require moderate lifting. Needs the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone, and other basic office equipment, and ability to work with diverse populations. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and use a phone. some travel, by vehicle is required. Reading, writing, calculating and social interactions skills, reasoning analysis, and ability to work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem solving, organizational skills with the teaching and learning process, and high level of inter-personal skills is preferred.
