Job Type: Part-time Pay Range: $12.32-15.42 TELLER JOB DESCRIPTION — Teller Summary/Objective Process transactions and assist members with basic inquiries/requests. Teller Responsibilities To be an integral part of the Hoosier Hills Credit Union and Service Center team in living out our corporate mission; To be better for our members by making a positive difference in their lives and the communities we serve. Deliver outstanding service to both internal and external members that is in alignment with the Credit Unions Service Promises. Meet or exceed established sales and service goals. Maintain current knowledge of all Credit Union products, as assessed by the annual product knowledge certification. Greet members promptly and professionally. Process transactions in an accurate, timely, and courteous manner. Assist members with account problems and provide information as requested. Process all required documentation. Prove cash, negotiable items and merchandise items at the end of the day. Image and proof negotiable items. Assure proper maintenance, cleanliness and security of work area, cash drawer, desks, equipment, etc. Comply with the policies and procedures of Hoosier Hills Credit Union. Comply with privacy issues and requirements. Comply with all laws and regulations. Complete annual Bank Secrecy/OFAC and any related training annually as assigned by Training or Compliance Staff. Comply with all applicable BSA/AML laws, rules, regulations, policies and business practices established by Credit Union management. Perform teller duties as assigned. Assist with filing and shredding. Assist with nightly checkout. PM19 Teller Required Qualifications * Professional, well-developed interpersonal skills essential for servicing Credit Union members and projecting a positive image as representative for the Credit Union. * Requires educational equivalent to a four-year high school diploma. * Some cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred. * Intermediate mathematical skill required (calculations and concepts involving decimals, percentages, fractions, etc.). Teller Work Environment/Physical Demands * Service Center days of operation are Monday-Saturday. Hours vary by location. * Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. * Work requires sitting and frequent standing, as well as lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds when moving coin and cash drawer. Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned.
