Peraton is looking for a proactive Principal Cyber Intelligence Analyst in McLean, Virginia, to join our team of dedicated analysts supporting ongoing research and analysis focused on Order of Battle for conventional and strategic military forces. Job Duties:
The Military Analyst will successfully identify, gather and assess all-source information in order to determine the disposition, location, and all-encompassing information for insurgent and violent events
*The customer may require attendance at meetings within the Washington D.C. metropolitan area to brief colleagues across the community*
Basic Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR A PhD; An additional 5 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
Experience in the following:
Proven military-related research and analysis experience with country- and regional-specific conventional and strategic military forces
Searching classified and unclassified literature for ground, naval, and air forces information
Knowledge and/or expertise in AOR (Area of Responsibility)
Prior working experience in military intelligence or Order of Battle
An Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in military history, political science, international relations, security studies, intelligence analysis, or other related discipline and five (5) years of experience in military intelligence issues
Advanced expertise and ability to construct OB on conventional and strategic military forces
Familiarity with information management systems used by the customer and IC, including but not limited to NGT, googleEarth etc.
Familiarity with IC Gazetteers
Familiarity with constructing and maintaining an OB and with conducting analysis of military forces and operations
Knowledge of order-of-battle systems, processes, status, and procedures
Ability to use various presentation formats such as maps, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and other reports to display results of analysis
Ability to update and manipulate data using Microsoft office products
Proficient in working with and updating web-based database systems
