We are seeking a Product Designer to join our growing product design team in our South End Charlotte office, with the option for remote work. You would be leading design efforts for the mobile-native servicing experience of our new BrighWay credit card, a critical and highly visible initiative for the company.

Designers work as part of outcome-driven cross functional teams, owning a feature or initiative from ideation to production, utilizing data to drive continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with team leads and internal stakeholders to create empathetic, simple, and human-centric design solutions that define our product experience.

• Work collaboratively with other designers on your team to create conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for consumer-facing websites and mobile apps considering user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

• Own product features through launch, ensuring we’re shipping meaningful and quality experience

• Help to develop, use, and maintain a design system that delivers a consistent and on-brand experience throughout all of our digital experiences, both website and mobile apps.

• Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas to push the user experience of our product

• Give and solicit feedback from other designers, product management, and engineering during weekly reviews and standups

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in either agency or product related environments designing consumer facing digital experiences

• 2+ Expertise in building (and ideally launching) successful and engaging mobile applications for iOS and Android; building consumer facing membership-based mobile apps is a plus

• Experience designing mobile-first and responsive web pages

• Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts and solutions

• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative testing

• Understanding of how data and qualitative research inform product and design decisions

• Experience designing mobile-first and responsive web pages

• Hands on experience with Angular or similar web application frameworks

• Proficiency with design and prototyping software such as Figma, Miro, and Zeplin

• Knowledge of UX best practices and trends

• Strong understanding of information hierarchy and typography

• Strong communication and presentation skills

Location: hybrid schedule: 2 days/week on site
