As a Regional Human Resources Manager for our Sierra Field/Stores organization, you will lead and support the business by driving greater efficiency and scalability. Our HR model is based upon Centers of Expertise (COE), Human Resources Business Partners, Human Resources Operations and the Business working in partnership to fuel and sustain TJX growth objectives. This New England based position will support all Human Resources related activities for assigned geographical areas coast to coast while also providing leadership, strategic counsel, advisory and consultative services to the business. Responsibilities also include management of talent development, performance, culture and the maintenance of a healthy and productive work environment within function/s.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
Contribute to the delivery of HR strategies to support the business goals and objectives
Partner with functional leaders and leadership teams to ensure the overall organization and culture are designed around strategic growth and performance goals
Enable continuous improvement and change
Provide high level coaching and counsel to leaders
Talent
Influence and support the business function’s Talent Agenda
Along with leaders and learning partners, help architect solutions for future talent needs
Drive a strategic learning culture supportive of cross-functional opportunities
Support/enable talent strategy
Guide the acquisition, staffing, development and retention of TJX associates
Engagement
Drive and ensure talent development, succession planning, and a culture of inclusion within assigned functions
Collaborate in the management of compensation, and benefits programs and support a high level of employee engagement through the maintenance of a healthy work environment.
Advocate use of performance management and feedback mechanisms to insure frequent, candid communication with Associates
Skills/Knowledge:
Demonstrated knowledge of HR strategy, policies and processes and their implementation
Rigorously pursues practical business solutions while spontaneously responding to the day to day needs of the business
Accustomed to working as a strategic business partner; proven track record of defining and delivering HR strategy that meets long-term, strategic business goals
Proven track record of full life cycle project management and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
Superior team building and leadership skills
Promotes and educates others regarding the link between HR and client and business impact
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate complex business information in a clear and compelling way
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build effective working relationships with internal partners in a rapidly changing environment
Developed business acumen
Data trending and analysis with storytelling
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
5+ years of comparable HR Field HR experience which could include functional CoE such as Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Talent Management etc. or Store Operations leadership experience
Understanding of Employment Law and Employee Relations
Experience supporting a retail organization strongly preferred
Experience working in a high growth organization
HR Certification a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnights
