The Core Terminal Services team is responsible for architecting and building the infrastructure for the Bloomberg Professional Client software (aka Bloomberg Terminal). The Bloomberg Professional Client is used by more than 350K financial professionals around the world for consuming market moving news, analytics and real-time financial data.
Our team is responsible for providing a host of core infrastructure services like secure network connectivity to Bloomberg servers, login & biometric authentication, encrypted caching, software distribution & update services and a client-side micro services framework. We provide these infrastructure services by building clean, testable, cross-platform components using modern C++. Our team ownership spans both the client infrastructure and the backend services that support the terminal, giving you an opportunity to work on high-impact end-to-end projects. We have started a major effort to rebuild core infrastructure for the terminal software and this is a great opportunity for you to make a lasting impact on critical Bloomberg infrastructure.
