We’re looking for a marketing designer that can continue to elevate our brand through creative campaigns and collateral that inspires, educates and captivates our audience.

Dealerware has an immediate, full-time opportunity for a Solutions Architect to help us transform the way car dealers and manufacturers think about products and profits. We’re looking for an experienced architect who still likes getting their hands in the code on a regular basis, who has experience with monolithic to micro front end transformations, and who is excited by solving challenging technical problems. The Solutions Architect will own architectural design choices, and guide front and back-end comprehensive system design including API, web and mobile applications. Effective communication with executive team, technology partners, internal business units and team collaboration across Audi/VW group is essential to success.

Our front end software stack is currently being rewritten in React. We manage application state with Redux, and use SWR for data caching. Our primary testing frameworks are Jest and React Test library.

As a Solutions Architect you will:

Establish and advocate adoption of engineering best practices, leading by example
Assess new technologies and provide recommendations towards a service-oriented software architecture, developing solutions that can serve multiple product lines
Coach and mentor development team members on engineering standards and best practices
Lead development of mid and long-term technical roadmaps, including detailed migration strategies to evolve our applications
Inspire and excite people internally around the long-term technical vision
Contribute to solving the company’s toughest technical challenges
Create and maintain highly scalable web applications leveraging modern cloud platforms
Work with the design team to build amazing apps with React
Guide the development of tests and documentation as you oversee feature development
Maintain expertise in current and emerging technologies and tools
Represent Dealerware’s technology within Audi, and larger VW group

Required qualifications:

Proven experience building microservice or SOA architectures
Proven experience taking a product to market
Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design; domain-driven design
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience leading web application development as a Principal Software Engineer or Architect
5+ years experience in React or other JS frameworks (TypeScript experience is a plus).
Experience designing, implementing, and integrating with RESTful APIs.
Experience with traditional CSS and CSS-in-JS
Experience working with databases in Redis
Experience with Micro-frontend architecture
Experience across the full application lifecycle from concept through retirement
Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and SDKs
Possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders to understand and explain highly technical information in a clearly/concisely
