Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced and motivated professional for a Principal Contract Administrator or Sr. Principal Contract Administrator (level 3/4). This position supports the Advanced Land Sensors Radar Operating Unit in the MLSS Division. This business unit is based in Linthicum, MD. However, a hybrid remote teleworking arrangement will be considered for an experienced candidate. In such arrangement, the candidate will be expected to be on site to support proposals, onsite meetings, program reviews and customer meetings if required. Some travel may be required. You will be a key contributor and empowered to make a difference!Roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate encompasses the following: Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts. Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.Basic Qualifications:
The Sr. Principal Contract Administrator (level 4) candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 10 years of professional experience in business management, finance, accounting, or related fields – OR -Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with 8 year professional experience as described above
Principal Contract Administrator (level 3) The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with 6 years of professional experience in business management, finance, accounting, or related fields – OR -Master’s Degree from an accredited institution with 4 years professional experience as described above
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and, innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences
The willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
Professional experience in a regulated industry: to include Aerospace & Defense
Salary Range: 68400 – 155496
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
