Peraton is seeking a Sr. Principal Program Cost, Schedule, and Control Analyst to join our growing team of diverse professionals on-site in either McLean, Virginia or Fort Knox, Kentucky, or virtually as a full-time teleworker. Responsibilities:
Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
Performs risk and opportunity assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
Subcontractor invoicing and funding
Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
Prepares and presents financial data to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts
Compliance and financial reporting
Reviews contractual documents
Assistance with contract negotiations
Supports pricing and proposal activities
Basic Qualifications:
Must have one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of business, finance, or program control experience
Master’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of business, finance, or program control experience
Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a business or finance discipline
Active DoD Secret security clearance
