TRID Compliance Specialist

Mission Global, a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, is a leading loan sale advisor and Third-Party Review firm providing residential loan due diligence. Mission Global is seeking TRID compliance specialists to join their team. Candidates will closely follow the Mission Global’s due diligence policies and procedures as well as TRID mortgage rules and/or investor requirements and applicable laws. Part-time and full-time candidates will be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform in-depth analysis of closed single family mortgage loans.
Review individual loan files.
Determine and adhere to compliance guidelines.
Complete assigned compliance transaction testing, and when applicable, remediate all findings identified.
Prepare presentations and reports that clearly communicate findings to clients.
Review client feedback and develop satisfactory solutions for rebuttals.
Responsible for the timely execution of special projects assigned by the Client Services Manager.
Maintain up to date knowledge of all applicable laws and administer any required updates to review process.
ATTRIBUTES/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant experience in mortgage, funding, closing/post-closing experience required.
Strong background and knowledge of TRID loan closing documentation and knowledge of TRID compliance regulations including CFPB and Dodd-Frank Act.
Knowledge of federal and state mortgage loan compliance statutes including RESPA, Reg Z, HOEPA, MDIA, and HPML
High attention to detail in analytical assessments and valuations.
Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and productively during time sensitive situations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Independent worker with a team player attitude.
Flexible attitude with the ability to handle change effectively.
