Job Summary

Performs clerical services and tasks for a specific unit in healthcare facilities. Answering phone calls and responding to patients/residents inquires about healthcare programs and services. Receiving and dispatching correspondence for designated unit. Assisting with administrative tasks for a specific healthcare unit, such as ordering supplies and scheduling. Collaborating to create and maintain a clean environment within healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least one year experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

May require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification dependent upon department.
