Job Description

We are looking for a college-level volunteer research assistant working towards a career in Biology or Chemistry. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

· Hands-on training in our lab facility

· In vitro cellular and molecular assays

· In vivo animal models for all major health conditions

· Non-GLP Toxicology studies in rodents

· Data collection, graphing interpretation and experimental analysis

· Researching information for new projects (looking through published journals)

· Drafting research papers and patents including institution access to databases

· Creating interactive meetings and working with other companies for collaborations

· Verbal and written communication in a clear and concise manner

· Analytical and organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to work flexibly in a team environment

Experience Required

As this is a volunteer position, we are seeking to hire someone who is geared towards biochemistry and is willing to be trained in a professional lab setting. Prior experience in a lab will be helpful but is not required.
