Cheba Hut is a “Toasted” sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Most locations also offer a full bar and craft beer bars that feature local beers from neighborhood breweries. We even have Kool-Aid!

Job Title: CheBA Hut Bartender

CheBA Hut is seeking a skilled and creative Bartender to join our team. As a CheBA Hut Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting unique and refreshing thirst-quenching recipes for our guests. We are looking for someone who is passionate about mixology and has a strong knowledge of bar operations. Bartenders are expected to provide the best possible service and encourage a friendly community vibe.

Responsibilities:

– Create unique and delicious cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages for our guests

– Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests to ensure a positive experience

– Maintain a clean and organized bar area

– Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed

– Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines

– Collaborate with the kitchen team to create CheBA atmosphere

Requirements:

Required Experience, Skills & Abilities:

• Think “shop first” / customer first
• Proven experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate integrity
• Demonstrate self-direction
• Demonstrate “heads-up”. Keep your head on a swivel and be aware of your surroundings
• Alcohol Service Safety certifications (ServeSafe, T.I.P.S)
• Team-oriented attitude

Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (lifting/pushing/pulling inventory/kegs)
• Stamina to work a 10-hour shift
• Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations
• Ability to work in team environment with high levels of collaboration
• Must be comfortable with marijuana themed culture
