Cardiology – Interventional Physician

Overview:
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide part-time weekend locum coverage in Illinois. This is a high-acuity role supporting STEMI call and Cath Lab procedures within a collaborative hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Weekend coverage – Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM
• 24-hour call shifts
• Estimated 6 shifts per month
• 30-minute response time required

Responsibilities:

• Cardiac catheterizations
• PCI and interventional procedures
• Participate in the hospital s STEMI auto-accept program for regional patients
• Perform necessary Cath Lab procedures for inpatients
• Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients
• Collaborate with other employed and PSA cardiologists
• Hospital-based, solo coverage
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Illinois license
• DEA and CSR required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience
