We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to handle the installation of plumbing systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems operate efficiently, meet applicable codes, and maintain the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Install commercial plumbing systems and fixtures, including piping, pumps, valves, drains, and water heaters.
– Identify and diagnose plumbing issues, perform repairs, and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
– Read and interpret blueprints and building codes to plan installations and system upgrades.
– Conduct testing to ensure systems are leak-free, properly pressurized, and fully functional.
– Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
– Work collaboratively with contractors, construction teams, and other trades on project sites.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in plumbing, with a strong focus on commercial systems.
– In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and industry best practices.
– Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
– Minimum of 4 years of commercial plumbing experience.
– Familiarity with applicable plumbing codes and regulations.
– Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
– High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and carry heavy tools and materials.
– Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and at elevated heights.
– Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend for extended periods.
– Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
– Proficiency working with PVC, CPVC, copper (sweat and ProPress), and cast iron piping systems.
