Cook – Job Responsibilities

– Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.

– Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.

– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.

– Ensure all equipment is used safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.

– Manage portion sizes and presentation to ensure consistency.

– Assist in training junior kitchen staff and new team members.

– Handle and store food products in compliance with food safety standards.

– Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Cook – Job Requirements

– Proven experience as a cook or relevant role

– Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures

– Familiarity with industry best practices

– Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

– Ability to work in a team

– Excellent communication skills

– Ability to work efficiently under pressure

– Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

– Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
