Job Summary
The Avionics/Electrical Systems Engineer within MRB Engineering provides direct support to aircraft manufacturing, test, and flight operations by evaluating and resolving avionics and electrical system discrepancies on Gulfstream large cabin aircraft. This role requires strong analytical capability, sound engineering judgment, and effective communication to ensure timely and compliant dispositions.
Engineers in this role analyze system faults, interpret design intent, and collaborate closely with Operations, Flight Test, Design Engineering and Quality to develop solutions that maintain airworthiness and support ongoing certification and entry into service activities.
The role brings together flight data evaluation, systematic troubleshooting, and collaboration with multiple engineering and operational groups, while maintaining active participation in build and test operations to ensure aircraft conform to design specifications, safety expectations, and certification requirements.
This position seeks candidates who are available to work an Afternoon or Weekend Shift. Key Responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 ys in specific technical discipline or 10 yrs broad eng experience in several technical disciplines with Bachelors. Experience credit considered for related adv degrees limited to 2 yrs for Masters, 4 yrs for PhD in fields applicable to this job.
