Facility in Galesburg, IL seeking App Emergency Medicine locums coverage Rates: $130/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Part-Time Schedule: You’ll cover approximately 10 shifts per month, with a focus on heavier weekend shifts and intermittent weekday coverage.
  • Weekday Shifts: 10a-10p and 3p-3a (Monday), 10a-10p (Tues-Fri).
  • Weekend Shifts: 12p-12a (Saturday and Sunday).
• Collaborative Environment: You will not work solo and will work alongside physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Manageable Volume: You will assist with the daily management of an ED census of approximately 60 patients.
• Hospital Services: The hospital provides comprehensive services including General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Infectious Disease. Emergent cases are transferred as needed.
• EMR System: The facility uses EPIC for all charting.
• Privileging: Full privileges are available, with an estimated credentialing time of 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct patient assessments, perform procedures, and manage emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff in a fast-paced setting, assisting with daily patient management, documentation, and communication.

Requirements

• Credential: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience is required.
• Licensure: An active Illinois State License is REQUIRED to apply. We will not consider IMLC candidates.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.

Start Date

• The target start date is January 5, 2026.
