Job Description Job Description About the Role: DIAMOND AND DIAMOND is seeking a competent, energetic, and experienced Part-Time Family Law Paralegal for in-person employment, working with our team of family law attorneys and other paraprofessionals in a fast-paced small firm environment. This is not an entry-level position. Salary and benefits commensurate with experience level and hours of employment sought.
Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys and the firm’s paraprofessional office staff with handling all aspects of the firm’s client matters
• Drafting, editing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, court applications, and correspondence electronically with the Court System
• Assist in organizing client files and maintaining client files in an organized manner ( paper and electronic files)
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and experts, as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the legal team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in family law.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and family law procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in document preparation.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
