Green Coyote Cantina is bringing honest Tex-Mex, handcrafted margaritas, and genuine hospitality to The Dale in Avondale Estates, and we’re building an incredible team to help launch our newest location. Inspired by the spirit of classic Texas hospitality, Green Coyote is built on a simple philosophy: great food, great drinks, and even better people. From sizzling fajitas and street tacos to fresh cold-pressed margaritas and timeless Tex-Mex favorites, we’re committed to creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

At Green Coyote, we believe hospitality starts with our team. We’re looking for friendly, energetic, and hospitality-driven Hosts and Hostesses who enjoy working with people, creating welcoming first impressions, and helping every guest feel at home from the moment they arrive.

As a Host, you’ll do much more than greet guests-you’ll help manage the flow of the restaurant, coordinate seating, assist with takeout guests, and support the Front of House team to ensure every guest receives exceptional service. • Previous restaurant, host, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Flexible availability, including lunch, dinner, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Position Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with genuine Texas-style hospitality and a warm first impression
• Manage guest wait lists and seating using the restaurant’s seating system
• Coordinate seating to maintain an efficient dining room flow and balanced server rotation
• Provide accurate wait time estimates and communicate delays professionally
• Answer telephones and assist guests with reservations, takeout inquiries, and general questions
• Assist takeout guests with order pickups while providing friendly, efficient service
• Coordinate completed takeout orders with guests and third-party delivery drivers when needed
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby, waiting area, and host stand
• Open doors, acknowledge departing guests, and thank them for dining with us
• Communicate effectively with managers, servers, bartenders, Server Assistants, and kitchen staff
• Complete opening, running, and closing responsibilities
• Support the overall success of the Front of House team by assisting wherever needed

Guest Experience Standards

Our Hosts are responsible for creating the first and last impression of Green Coyote Cantina.

Team members are expected to:

• Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism
• Maintain organized seating and efficient table rotation
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
• Anticipate guest needs and provide timely assistance
• Help create a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere
• Represent Green Coyote Cantina with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality every shift

Schedule & Availability

Green Coyote Cantina is open daily from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM, serving lunch, dinner, and special events.

Applicants should have flexible availability, including:

• Lunch shifts
• Dinner shifts
• Weekday availability
• Weekend availability
• Holidays and special events
• Opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled
