Host/ToGo/Expo- Job Responsibilities

– Greet guests warmly and promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

– Manage and oversee the seating arrangement to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.

– Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front area and host stand.

– Coordinate take-out orders, ensuring accurate and efficient packaging and delivery to guests.

– Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order details and modifications.

– Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.

– Assist in managing the flow of service by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.

– Handle guest inquiries and reservations via phone and in-person.

– Monitor and manage the waitlist during peak hours.

– Address guest complaints or requests efficiently and professionally.

– Ensure all to-go orders are complete and include necessary utensils, condiments, and napkins.

Host/ToGo/Expo – Job Requirements

– Previous experience in a similar role preferred.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

– Basic math skills for handling transactions.

– Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and reservation software.

– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

– Professional appearance and demeanor.

– Ability to handle customer complaints with patience and tact.

– Team player with a positive attitude.
