Residential Electrical Installer – Hurricane Shutters

RollShield LLC Clearwater, FL
Full-Time $60-75K per year, based on experience

RollShield LLC is seeking a dependable Residential Electrical Installer to support the installation of motorized hurricane shutters, sunrooms, and related home-improvement products throughout the Tampa Bay area.

This is a hands-on field position for someone with residential or construction electrical experience who is comfortable working with wiring, motors, switches, controls, and electrical troubleshooting.

Experience with motorized hurricane shutters is a plus, but we are willing to consider candidates with transferable residential or construction electrical experience.

What You’ll Do

• Complete electrical installations for motorized roll-down hurricane shutters
• Provide power to shutter motors and related systems
• Install switches, controls, wiring, and electrical components
• Install raceways and route wiring as needed
• Troubleshoot motors, switches, controls, and electrical issues
• Work closely with RollShield installation crews on residential projects
• Assist with electrical work related to sunrooms and other installed products
• Fish wire through walls and finished spaces when necessary
• Perform minor drywall patching when required
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable electrical standards
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service at customer homes

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of residential, construction, or electrical installation experience preferred
• Experience with electrical wiring, motors, switches, and controls
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and motor-control issues
• Familiarity with common electrical tools and equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working in residential and construction environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following is especially helpful:

• Motorized hurricane shutters
• Impact window and door installation
• Residential electrical work
• Low-voltage or motor controls
• Garage-door or gate systems
• HVAC electrical
• Construction electrical
• Home automation or motorized products

Journeyman experience or licensing is a plus, but not required for candidates with relevant hands-on experience.
