Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Retail Customer Service Associate to support a busy retail business services environment in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This position involves frequent customer interaction and a combination of customer service, shipping, packaging, printing, document services, and general retail responsibilities. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, comfortable using computers, and able to manage multiple priorities while providing accurate and courteous service.

Training will be provided. Previous experience in retail, customer service, shipping, printing, or a similar environment is helpful but not required.
Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance.
• Process customer purchases and service transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Assist with shipping, package preparation, labeling, and related services.
• Prepare packages for shipment and assist with custom packaging when needed.
• Complete printing, copying, scanning, laminating, binding, and other document-related services.
• Sort and organize incoming mail and packages.
• Help customers select appropriate products and services based on their needs.
• Complete transactions accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional customer service area.
• Complete required online and on-the-job training.
• Work cooperatively with team members to support daily operations and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
• Comfortable using email, internet-based applications, Microsoft Office programs, and document or design software.
• Ability to learn new software, equipment, and procedures.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods during a shift.

Notary Requirement

A current South Carolina Notary Public commission is helpful but is not required at the time of application. If the position transitions into a long-term permanent placement, the employee may be required to obtain and maintain a valid South Carolina Notary Public commission in accordance with state eligibility requirements.
Schedule

Candidates must have flexibility to work approximately 40 hours per week within the following operating hours:

• Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Weekend shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis. Shifts may vary based on business needs, and occasional assignments at another nearby location may be required.
