Mansions Senior Living Communities is seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales and Marketing Director to lead sales, occupancy growth, community outreach, referral development, and marketing initiatives for our independent living community.

This is an ideal opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on building connections, networking in the community, hosting impactful events, conducting engaging tours, and helping seniors and their families navigate the decision-making process.

The Sales and Marketing Director is a highly visible representative of the community and plays a critical role in achieving occupancy goals through lead generation, relationship development, referral partnerships, tours, follow-up, and strategic marketing initiatives.

Candidates with senior living sales experience and a proven track record of converting leads into move-ins are strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary of $70,000 annually, negotiable based upon experience

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking candidates with experience in:

• Senior Living Sales & Marketing
• Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Retirement Communities
• Community Outreach and Referral Development
• Lead Generation and Sales Conversion
• Marketing and Outreach Event Planning
• Relationship Management and Networking
• Hospitality or Property Leasing experience is a plus

Candidates who have previously worked as a Senior Living Marketing Director, Community Relations Director, Sales Counselor, or Director of Sales will receive strong consideration.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Living Sales & Lead Management

• Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, inquiries, and referrals
• Conduct tours for prospective residents and their families
• Build relationships with prospects and understand their individual needs
• Guide seniors and families through the sales and decision-making process
• Maintain consistent and timely follow-up with prospects
• Maintain accurate lead and activity information within the CRM
• Develop and execute strategies to convert qualified leads into move-ins
• Consistently work toward and achieve community occupancy goals
• Maintain strong relationships with current residents and families to encourage referrals

Community Outreach & Referral Development

• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, senior service providers, healthcare professionals, businesses, churches, and community organizations
• Identify and cultivate new referral sources
• Represent Mansions Senior Living Communities professionally throughout the local community
• Participate in networking opportunities and community organizations that support lead generation
• Maintain consistent outreach activity to increase awareness of the community

Marketing Events & Community Engagement

Plan, coordinate, promote, and host events designed to generate qualified prospects and strengthen referral relationships.

Required quarterly marketing events include:

• Prospect events
• Family & Friends events
• Vendor and referral partner events

Events should have a clear purpose and measurable goal of generating qualified leads, increasing community awareness, and strengthening relationships with prospects and referral partners.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

• Assist with advertising, digital marketing, and social media initiatives
• Maintain current knowledge of competing senior living communities, services, pricing, and market trends
• Identify opportunities to differentiate the community from competitors
• Ensure marketing materials and community messaging are consistent with company brand standards
• Maintain professional, attractive, and up-to-date signage and promotional materials
• Support excellent curb appeal and ensure the community makes a strong first impression on prospective residents and families

Qualifications

• 2+ years of senior living sales and marketing experience preferred
• Proven success conducting community tours and converting leads into move-ins
• Experience managing sales leads and maintaining consistent prospect follow-up
• Experience planning and executing marketing or outreach events
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Compassion and genuine interest in working with seniors and their families
• Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills
• Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the community leadership team

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Acceptable driving record and current personal auto insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for tours, networking opportunities, and marketing events
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
