Description:
Delta 360 is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Lead to oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory processes across all branch locations. This role is responsible for driving inventory accuracy, transaction discipline, and standardized warehouse procedures in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience, is comfortable leading through influence across multiple locations, and is proficient with ERP inventory modules (and related CRM modules/workflows) to ensure inventory visibility from receipt through customer delivery.
This is a hands-on leadership role that partners with Branch Managers, Operations, Sales, and Accounting to strengthen controls, reduce errors, and improve service levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and standardize shipping, receiving, and inventory handling processes across all branches to ensure consistency and accuracy
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all inventory transactions in the ERP (receipts, shipments, transfers, adjustments, returns, and RMAs as applicable)
Lead multi-branch inventory control practices, including cycle counts, physical inventory support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Monitor inventory accuracy and transaction compliance by location; identify gaps, retrain teams, and implement process improvements
Coordinate inter-branch transfers to ensure accurate picking, packing, documentation, and ERP posting (quantity, item, location, and timing)
Maintain receiving standards, including verification of quantities, item identification, documentation, and discrepancy resolution with Purchasing/Vendors
Maintain shipping standards, including order verification, packaging requirements, carrier coordination, shipment documentation, and on-time dispatch
Support branch teams in optimizing warehouse organization (bin/location accuracy, staging areas, labeling, and material flow)
Partner with Sales/Customer Service to support order fulfillment, customer requests, delivery requirements, and issue resolution
Utilize ERP Inventory and CRM modules to improve visibility, traceability, and communication from order entry through fulfillment
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, cycle count results, shipping accuracy, receiving cycle time, and transfer accuracy
Investigate and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies, shortages, damages, and freight claims; coordinate documentation and follow-up
Maintain and improve SOPs, training materials, and checklists; coach branch warehouse staff and reinforce best practices
Promote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment; ensure compliance with company safety policies and equipment procedures
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of warehouse experience with significant responsibility in shipping and receiving in a high-volume operation
Demonstrated experience overseeing or coordinating inventory processes across multiple locations/branches
Proficiency using an ERP system Inventory module (receiving, shipping, transfers, inventory adjustments); experience with CRM workflows/modules strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain transaction accuracy and documentation discipline
Ability to prioritize effectively and perform under daily deadlines and operational demands
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to investigate discrepancies and drive corrective action
Strong communication skills; ability to work effectively with branch teams, operations leadership, and office/accounting personnel
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to work with reports and data exports preferred
Ability to travel to branch locations periodically as needed
